I'd like the large availability of packaged software (both free and nonfree) from Debian and Ubuntu, but I'll accept Fedora or OpenSUSE in that regard if there are other ways to access such equiparable wealth of packages, even if it requires a bit of work at first. I would prefer newer but tested and stable packages because as an AMD APU + GPU laptop owner, any kernel and graphic improvements, as small as they can be, are very welcome.

Also I'm not willing to rely on smaller distro projects, based on the top distros anyway, whose future might be uncertain, so I decided I'm going to settle with one of the top dogs for desktop Linux. Not that it wasn't an interesting and very educational experience, but I prefer something more predictable with OOTB support to smartphones, printers and things like that without hunting down which individual packages or kernel modules are missing. I've had my fair share of fun in the last couple months playing with Antergos and I decided Arch is not for me.
